Instructions For Scientific Paper / Poster Presentation

   

Guidelines for Sending the Abstract for Presentation

 

Only registered delegates can present scientific paper and posters.

All specialities of dentistry (either in the form of case presentation, review or research) will be considered with a special emphasis on the latest trends in dentistry.

The abstract should be sent as a soft copy (along with a scanned copy of the registration form) on or before 15th February 2013 .

Soft copy of abstract can be mailed to studentsconvention2013@gmail.com

The contents of the abstract should have the following :

a. The title of the presentation, the Guide's name and Presenter's name, College name and e-mail ID.

b. The title of the presentation should be in bold letters.

c. The abstract should not exceed 200 words.

d. Font size : 12, Font format : Times New Roman, Spacing : Single line spacing.

Acceptance letter will be sent to the authors through e-mail.

Guidelines for Preparing Presentation

 

presentation should be made in Microsoft power point format.

Maximum 2 authors can present paper.

The presenter should contact preview room in-charge to load their presentation at least 2 hours before the scheduled time for the alloted batch.

Use of personal laptop for presentation will not be allowed (Flash drive or other data storage devices will be accepted) .

Time allotted : 8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for discussion.

Students are strongly advised to adhere to the timings as the presentation will be electronically switched off after the allotted time.

Only power point presentations in MS Office 2003 will be accepted.

Avoid animations in the presentation as they do not add any scientific value to the presentation.

 

Guidelines for Preparing Poster

 

Printed posters need to be displayed in the conference.

No. of Authors for posters - Maximum 2.

Size of poster should be 3ft. X 2ft. either in landscape or portrait.

The name of the author and his/her college needs to be present in the poster.
